Direkt started on ORF 1 in March 2011. Every Tuesday evening, the show examined current events with a youthful yet journalistic approach. The show was presented by the well-known presenter Doris Golpashin and dealt with significant, emotional and moving national and international stories, providing background information and expert opinion.
The show uncovered problems and scandals, as well as attempting to rectify unpleasant situations.
