A culinary trip around the world
Production OverviewWith Eckart Witzigmann
The "Ikarus" at the Hangar-7 in Salzburg is a unique culinary temple at the outskirts of Mozart's birthplace, which boasts of a unique culinary concept. Twelve of the best chefs in the world will strut their stuff at the "Ikarus" for one month each.
Patrone Eckart Witzigmann, Chef of the Century, and Roland Trettl, chef of the “"karus", plan to visit an outstanding colleague each month, each at their respective restaurants, inviting them as guest chefs to the Hangar-7.
Hong Kong or Sao Paulo, Sydney or New York, London or Cape Town, Vancouver or Madrid, Frankfurt or Beijing, Strasbourg or Salzburg – Austrian star chef Eckart Witzigmann will be on site to present extraordinary recipes, exotic products and the philosophy of each guest chef, garné with a glimpse of the chef's private life and the respective city visited.
Each station of the "Culinary Trip Around The World" is a mouth-watering portrait, a feast for the taste buds that makes one thing clear: cooking is an art onto itself and chefs are true artists.
